I have completed all the shrines at the start of the game and I am inside the temple of time. I need to get across the bridge but it is broken and I do not know how to make it up to the final part of the bridge. It is too high for me to climb and since I do not have a glider, there is no tricks I can think of to make it across.

You will need to use the ascend ability for this. Position yourself below the overhanging part of the bridge and use the ascent ability by pressing the L button and selecting the ascent power that looks like a UFO beam. Look up and you will see the green grid showing on the bottom of the bridge. Press A to go up and you will appear on the upper side of the bridge with a clear path to the end.
