I have gotten robbie to upgrade the shrine sensor at the Hateno village laboratory and he is asking me to test it around the lab. Any time I walk near a door he gives out to me and whenever i run around other ways nothing happens. The sensor seems to be going off randomly but it isn’t giving me much. I have tried uplifting through the floor and I am still finding nothing

I tried it a million times and almost lost my mind. It finally triggered Robbie when I crouched in front of the ladder and crawled towards the door. Good luck
You have to walk, not run.
The sensor is not so much a proximity sensor but a direction one. If you run in the direction of a shrine it will go off. You are likely running in circles inside the lab which is triggering it to go off randomly. What you need to do is to go to the end of the room opposite of the double doors. There are chalk lines on the floor leading to a ladder. Stand here and run toward the double doors and you will hear the sensor going off a lot. Robbie will jump in then and move onto the next stage of the testing.

RobbieBlight is the hardest boss I’ve ever faced you do exactly what he says and he doesn’t do anything and he tells you try walking down the slope outside and then yells at you for trying to leave
If that’s how the sheik sensor is going to work then I don’t want it

I got mine to activate by walking from the ladder to the right upper corner of his house. What a funky quest that wasn’t tested right lol.
I had to look this up because I could not get him to stop yelling at me for trying to leave. I had to walk very slowly for it to trigger properly. Definitely feels like a glitch
Why would this even happen? Did no one test this part of the game???? I love Zelda games but theres always some shit like this that’s so frustrating
Thank you to Locknloaded…. My husband was going insane…. Told me there was a crisis…..but he did the chalk line approach and was able to finally leave!!!! Thank you!!!!
I wonder if this glitch only happens under rare circumstances. Otherwise it would likely have been picked up during playtesting. Perhaps it only happens to players who have already knocked the rocks out of the Retsam Forest Cave.
