Do you need to have an active internet connection in order to play Fallout 76 or is it possible to play the game offline?

Fallout 76 is designed to be an online multiplayer experience. This means you are required to have an internet connection and can’t play offline. There are private servers/lobbies that you can purchase which will make things a bit easier for you as there will be no other players running around the map causing difficulty for you.

If its a case that you just dont have an internet connection where you are playing, then you are going to be stuck as it is required for this game.
