PC

Gaming on Windows has always been the benchmark on how the ultimate gaming experience. While reaching the ultimate level comes with a hefty price tag, PC gaming offers the best visuals, performance, and catalog of games for those willing to pay for it.

PC gaming is a lot different from game consoles. Since a PC is a multi-purpose device capable of doing a lot more than playing games, the operating system (OS) is never as basic as those of home consoles. The benefit comes from a seemingly infinite backlog of games, massive modding communities and best of all Steam.

Steam to windows is much like PSN to PlayStation consoles and Xbox Live is to Xbox consoles. In fact, these networks were heavily inspired by what Steam initially brought to the PC community. While there have been competitor networks on PC, Steam has retained the majority of the market share for PC gaming.
