Gold is one of those items that we all know is valuable but has no idea what good it is to us. Is good just worth selling for caps or can it be used for other things? Most people won’t know what gold is used for until later in the game. It is used for creating high tech mods and is important for laser weapons if you decide to go down that road. Whether you are a laser weapon person or not, it is best to hold onto all the gold you can find. It is not a common resource in Fallout 76.

With the introduction of the wastelands update, gold bullion has been added as a currency to purchase items with a faction of survivors and some other spoiler-heavy vendors that are not worth talking about but you should know that you will likely want a lot of gold later in the game. Gold Farming Locations In Fallout 76

Since gold items are quite rare in Fallout 76, the best way to get gold is to take advantage of all of the gold deposits. that you can build an extractor on top of. Our great friend, the fallout 76 map, will be your best friend, showing you the locations you can find gold deposits.

To take advantage of these, locate the vein marked on the map in-game. You can then move your camp so that the build area captures the gold deposit. You can then build an extractor on top of it for a free, infinite supply of gold for crafting components.

Junk Items That Contain Gold Scrap In Fallout 76
