The game description mentions it supports couch coop but then on the Xbox live info page it shows Xbox live coop with 2+ players. Does this mean I can play Vicious attack llama apocalypse online with a friend instead of in person?

This game is couch coop only. You can quickly add other players to the game using another controller but this is the extent of it. You will not be able to play with a friend online. The game isn’t that good anyone so it’s not a huge loss that it’s offline only.
