Unveiling Xur’s Dec 22-24 Location: EDZ, The Winding Cove
Between December 22 and 24, Xur has chosen to appear at the European Dead Zone (EDZ), strategically tucked away in The Winding Cove. This spot suggests a journey off the beaten path for most players, contributing a sense of thrill to the chase.
To find your alien merchant, you’ll need to land at The Winding Cove in the EDZ. From there, make your way northwest towards a cliff. Xur will be waiting high up on the cliff, overseeing the entire cove.
What Exotics to Expect?
Fans of Destiny 2 eagerly anticipate Xur’s weekly arrival in part due to the varying exotic items he brings along. He holds an unpredictable stock that could range from highly sought-after weapons, armor pieces, to mysterious Engrams. Understanding Xur
As a wandering merchant enigma, Xur appears in Destiny 2 on a weekly basis, showing up unannounced in different parts of the map. Players who have exotic ciphers to exchange should find Xur, submit their ciphers, and receive a diverse (and often highly desired) range of exotic gear.
Note that come the end of the weekend, Xur vanishes, and any unsubmitted ciphers cannot be exchanged until his next appearance. Players will need to stay patient until the subsequent Friday, to uncover where Xur has relocated and explore his new inventory.
