Planet of the Eyes is a story driven puzzle game. There are many platforming elements and tricky puzzles that can be enjoyable to solve. The biggest thing of note is that you can get the platinum in less than an hour. Nothing can be missed since there is a chapter select. With a video guide, you can fly through this game and get the platinum trophy without no effort at all.

Trophy Guide & Road Map [toggle]
So this platinum is really easy to get. Rather than follow the guides for each trophy, you are best off just following the video walkthrough below. I have written guides for the trophies below in the even anyone needs them. I got the platinum for this game using the Planet of the Eyes trophy guide video below. This guide will show you how to get all the trophies in a single run in less than an hour.
Most of the trophies in this game are missable. You will need to interact with the enviornment at a specific point in the game or you will miss it. Since the game is short, its not a big deal but still, its good to know. Life is easy if you just follow the video guide above.
No way back.
Walk to the left of the screen as soon as you start the game. You will need to hop over the pod you came out of to get there.
Spider-bot, spider-bot…
This is unlocked in the same location as Audio Log #2. You will have had to climb up a ladder and push a black box off the edge. If you jump back to the ladder and go to the right you will find the audio log. Keep going to the right and you will see that the wall goes up on a slant until it reaches the roof. Start mashing X and hop your way up to the corner of the roof and once you get to the top, the trophy will unlock.
It’ll learn.
You will get this when you use electricity to get past the big monster thing that is trying to kill you.
Raindrops keep fallin’ on my head.
As you are climbing toward the top of the mountain, you will get to a puzzle where you have to push and pull stone slabs in order to make a stairway to the area above. Once you get to the top, the path to progress is to the right. If you look to the left, you will see a bouncy mushroom in the corner doing nothing. Go over and jump on it to get this trophy.
Darkest depths.
Once you get to the first water area you will need to jump across platforms to avoid electric eels in the water below. The middle platform will slam shut now and then so you need to be careful getting across here. Once you have gotten to the other side, there will be a small pool of water that you need to jump over. Jump into this pool and the trophy will unlock once you have sank to the bottom.
Should’ve kept an eye out.
You will probably get this without intending to. As you progress further up the mountain, you will get to a weird looking tower that shoots a red laser at you. You will need to avoid this as you swim through water filled with electric eels. You will get this trophy if you get killed by the laser.
Sometimes, a hidden passage opens up.
This is a tricky one to find and a tricky one to explain. You will eventually get to a tunnel area where a rock will fall from a tunnel above. There is no reason to go up here, so you will probably run ahead. However, there is a reason to go up here, a secret area that gives you a trophy. Jump up on the block that fell down and jump to the right to get up on the ledge. Once up, jump across to the area on the left and keep running to the left until the trophy unlocks.
Explore the dead end.
You might get this if you are not following a guide as the game sort of directs you down this dead end as it is the most obvious way to go. The dead end is shortly after a large laser puzzle. There will be 2 red lasers blocking the way forward. You need to jump up onto the platform and shake the green laser to hit the switch to turn off one laser, then run to the other side, do the same to disable the second laser. Go down the ladder and run across once both of the lasers are disabled. Keep moving to the right until you get to the end of the tunnel and the trophy will unlock here.
Oldest trick in the book.
This is a tricky jump to make since the robot isn’t the most agile of characters. You will get to a point where you are standing on a broken pipe that is diagonally pointing upward. To progress, you need to jump off the pipe and to a smaller pipe across the area that you slide down on. To get this trophy you need to carefully jump off the large broken pipe in a way that lets you jump inside of it. This is not the easiest thing to do and you may find you fall below the pipe a few times. If you do fall down too far, the only way to get back up is to move to the right and jump off the ledge to kill yourself. You will respawn back on top of the pipe.
Making light of the situation.
You will get to a platforming puzzle where a bunch of crushing devices are going up and down in a narrow tunnel. You will need to dodge a few and then you need to jump on top of one of them to get to the level above. Keep going on until you get to some red and green lasers. Get killed by one of the red lasers to get the trophy.
Heatwave.
Later on in the game there are several areas with lava. Jump in and die to get the trophy.
Have a rest. Now carry on.
This is simple to get but fairly easy to miss. Once you jump down to the area below you won’t be able to get the trophy anymore. It is a hard one to explain so follow the trophy guide walkthrough to get this one.
Just dance.
Press triangle when you are standing still and you will begin to dance, unlocking the trophy in the process.
