- Side with Hancock: The player can choose to betray Bobbi and inform Hancock of her plan. Together, they will confront Bobbi, and the player will have to kill her. Afterward, Hancock will reward the player with 500 caps and his appreciation. This decision allows Hancock to become a potential companion later in the game, and the player will maintain good relations with Goodneighbor.
Both choices in “The Big Dig” quest have their own rewards and consequences. The primary impact on the player’s experiences later in the game is the potential loss of Hancock as a companion if they choose to side with Bobbi. The quest serves as an opportunity for players to explore their moral compass and make a decision that aligns with their preferred playstyle.
