I am struggling at the moment with base energy. I can spend research bytes on things to make energy but I need to get more energy to be able to keep the base going. I have been doing quite a bit of digging and I have not been able to find any copper so far. Where do you get it from?

Copper is an ore that you can harvest in rocky areas. It can sometimes appear below ground level but most of the time it is above ground in the mountains. You should be able to find some hills and mountains nearby. These will have a light grey rock on them. Search around and you will find spikes of the material you need to smelt to create copper. I think its called malachite. It is a greenish-brown colour. It is fairly easy to spot once you are nearby.
