Efficient and Easiest Way to Get Nanocarbon Alloy

Efficient and Easiest Way to Get Nanocarbon Alloy

Nanocarbon Alloy is the most advanced resource in Astroneer, and crafting it requires several steps of resource collection, refinement, and processing. This guide will help you understand the most efficient and easiest way to obtain Nanocarbon Alloy in Astroneer.

Step 1: Gather the Required Resources

To craft Nanocarbon Alloy, you’ll need the following resources and gasses:

  1. Titanium – Obtained from refining Titanite, found mostly on Novus and Glacio.
  2. Steel – You will need to create Steel, which requires the following resources:
    • Iron – Obtained from refining Hematite, which is mostly found on Glacio and Novus.
    • Carbon – Obtained from smelting Organic resources, which are easily found on almost all planets.
    • Argon – Atmospheric gas obtained using an Atmospheric Condenser on Glacio or Vesania.
  3. Helium – Atmospheric gas obtained using an Atmospheric Condenser on Atrox.

Step 2: Prepare the Necessary Equipment

To create Nanocarbon Alloy, you’ll require the following equipment:

  1. Smelting Furnace – To smelt raw resources like Titanite, and Hematite into Titanium and Iron respectively.
  2. Chemistry Lab – To produce Steel, and Nanocarbon Alloy later on.
  3. Atmospheric Condenser – To extract the required gasses, Argon, and Helium.

Step 3: Create Steel

Using the Chemistry Lab, follow these steps to create Steel:

  1. Place 1 Iron, 1 Carbon, and 1 Argon in the Chemistry Lab.
  2. Start the process and wait for the Steel to be produced.

Step 4: Gather Gasses and Titanium

  1. Titanium: Refine Titanite in the Smelting Furnace to obtain Titanium.
  2. Argon: If you haven’t already procured Argon, place the Atmospheric Condenser on Glacio or Vesania, and extract Argon.
  3. Helium: To obtain Helium, place the Atmospheric Condenser on Atrox, and extract Helium.

Step 5: Craft Nanocarbon Alloy

With all the required resources and gasses, you can now craft Nanocarbon Alloy:

  1. Place 1 Titanium, 1 Steel, and 1 Helium in the Chemistry Lab.
  2. Start the process and wait for the Nanocarbon Alloy to be produced.

Though crafting Nanocarbon Alloy can be quite complex and time-consuming, following this guide, and obtaining the required resources and equipment will make the process more efficient and manageable.

Once you’ve crafted Nanocarbon Alloy, you can start using it for high-tier items and advanced projects, such as RTGs and Large Rovers, which will greatly enhance your gameplay experience in Astroneer.
