Inside the porch of the green building is a red door that required the red crystal to open. How do you get it inside here?

Above the porch of the house is a green barrier. Drop the red gem on top of this. Then pick up the green crystal and hover it near this and it will make the red gem fall inside the porch. You can run over to the full sized house then and use the red stone once you are inside the porch.
