When reflecting at the hot springs, does it matter which person or option that you pick while you are bathing in the hot springs? Do they both give you the same bonus?

From what I have experienced with them, you get the same health increase no matter what you pick. I tried selecting Square for a few and Triangle for some others. In all instances, I got a health increase. Seems like it is just a way for you to find out more about something you are interested in from the story rather than a way to influence the bonus that you end up getting.
