I have yet to come across any of it and have no idea where i could even go to look for some. Anyone know where to find Quartz Crystals?

Just like coal you can find Quartz Crystals in caves. Since they are a little more rare they also show up inside chests sometimes. Here is what a piece of quartz ore looks like. If you find a piece of it, you should definitely mine it as fast as you can before someone else spots it.
