Should I Tell Phineas Welles about the tracking code?

I have been asked to send a tracking signal from a terminal at Phineas’s laboratory. I don’t know if I should. I kinda like the guy and I don’t really like the board all that much. I don’t want to lock myself out of anything important either. I’ve been aiming to keep on good terms with the board because it feels like it will be worth it in the long run.

It’s no harm telling him. You will find out why when you do it. I will explain below but it will contain spoilers.

If you tell him, he will go along with it and you will have the option to place the tracking code or alternatively place some corrupt tracking code to buy him some time. The board will be none the wiser and you will sleep easy at night knowing you didn’t doom Welles and his laboratory.
