Where is the door handle for the Niwa hotel?

There is a door to the right of the main entrance of the Niwa hotel but I can’t get inside as the door handle is missing. Where is the handle?

Head back out to the main road, near where you found the telephone. Walk to the left until your reach a rusty car. Pop the hood of the car and you will find a screwdriver inside. You can use this to unlock the door into the hotel.
