The layout of the screens is pretty much the exact same. A touchpad on the controller and then a primary screen. Can the Wii U play games that were released on the 3ds exclusively?

No, it isn’t possible. It would have been really cool if it could though. This might have been something that prevented the Wii U from dying. Being able to play 3DS games on the big screen without having to use any altered controls is exactly what we want, but maybe there was a reason. The 3DS doesn’t exactly have the best visuals on the tiny 3DS screen. Imagine how bad these games might look on a big 55-inch screen!
