With the 360, only a selection of the games worked with the backward compatability program. With the PS5, will every game release for the PS4 work on it or is it going to be the same sort of thing where you will only be able to play games that have been supported to work?

Sony have said that the vast majority of games released for the PS4 will work with the PS5 right away. They said over 4000 games which is more than likely going to cover all of the games that most people are ever going to want to play on their consoles. They have released a list of games that are only going to work on PS4 and are not backward compatible with the PS5. If you own any of these, you won’t be able to play them with the PS5.
