I have been roaming around a crashed ship and I climbed a ladder to get to a different floor. I can’t seem to climb back down the ladder now. There is no prompt there to interact with it anymore like there normally is. Is this a glitch or something? I have lots of good stuff in my backpack that I don’t want to lose.

This happened to me before and it took me longer than It should to figure it out. I had used the deconstruct tool to get rid of some metal beams and when you have this tool equipped, you aren’t able to interact with ladders. Check you don’t have this tool equipped and if you do, switch back to a normal tool and you will be able to interact with the ladder again
