Does VR Motion Sickness Go Away?

-

I have never been someone who gets car sick, sea sick or any other kinds of sickness due to movement. However, playing VR games has made me really sick. I have never felt a sickness like this before. Does VR motion sickness go away over time? If so what is the best method to overcome it?
