I have picked up a bunch of raw meat from killing deer. I want to cook it, but i cant seem to interact with the fires in the game to cook it. How can i cook raw meat?

You can’t cook food. You have no option but to eat the meat raw. Not really sure why, but thats the way it is. There doesn’t seem to be any cooking mechanic to give the foot more potency once cooked.
