I have found the key and it is on top of the bathroom. I can’t seem to pick it up though. I checked out a quest guide for it and it says to just lick and make sure to use pilgore. I’m using him and licking doesn’t pick up the key?

The roof of the building might be an issue. Could be stuck in the cracks or something. Reload the game and it will reset the quest. The key spawns in the last crate you destroy so just destroy the crates on the roof of the bathroom first and then the rest and the key will spawn in an area where you can more easily lick it.
