I have killed the large croc and I have the key to his house now. How do I get up there. I have killed all the crocadiles in the area and unlocked all the gates but see no way to climb up to his house?

There is a windmill thing near his house. If you look up at it when you are close, you will be able to attach a grapple to it and use it to swing over to the balcony of his house and get inside.
