Do the letters Vita for the PS Vita actually stand for anything? Why did they not just call it the PSP 2 since this is pretty much what it is.

Even though it is often spelt using caps, Vita is not an acronym. Vita is a Latin word that means life. Quite ironic really considering Sony have wanted this thing to die for years.
