ININ has released Trouble Witches FINAL! Episode 01 Daughters of Amalgam, a spell-binding shmup now available digitally on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 as of December 15, 2025. From the makers of Cotton Reboot, the game leans into classic Japan shoot-em design with an emphasis on speed, spectacle, and scoring depth.
Developed by Rocket Engine / Studio SiestA over more than 18 years and published by ININ, the new entry embraces the Cute ‘Em Up spirit with 12 playable witches, each bringing distinct abilities, shot patterns, and magical familiars. The roster encourages experimentation, offering a range of playstyles for both newcomers and expert scorers.

Moment-to-moment action centers on extreme danmaku patterns designed to test precision and reflexes. A signature Magic Circle system lets players slow incoming fire and transform enemy bullets into gold coins, which can be spent at the Pumpkin Shop on Magic Cards. These cards unlock powerful abilities, screen-clearing tools, and defensive options that feed into high-risk, high-reward strategies.
Visually, the game mixes hand-drawn 2D character art with reimagined 3D stage backdrops, delivering a vibrant look that complements its dense bullet patterns. The digital release arrives as a feature-complete package with all previously released DLC included, and it supports eight distinct game modes aimed at long-term replay.

At launch, players can take advantage of a limited-time 10% discount on the Nintendo Switch version through December 29, 2025. During the same window, PlayStation Plus members receive a 10% discount on PS4.
Collectors can opt for a Physical Special Edition available exclusively at ININ.com. This edition includes a physical copy of the game, the original soundtrack, a full-color history artbook, and a digital download code for the Cotton DLC. Note that Cotton content is separate from the standard digital release.

Billed as the ultimate Cute ‘Em Up experience, Trouble Witches FINAL! invites fans of bullet-hell shooters and anime-inspired art to dive into its fast-paced stages, deep scoring systems, and character-driven variety. With its Magic Circle mechanics, Pumpkin Shop upgrades, and generous mode lineup, it’s built to reward skill growth and repeated runs.
