GreedFall II: The Dying World arrives on March 12, 2026, launching simultaneously in the US and UK for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Spiders and Nacon are taking players back to the 17th century–inspired fantasy setting, but this time the story unfolds three years before the first game and follows a native of Teer Fradee.
Premise and setting
Instead of revisiting De Sardet’s journey, you’re uprooted from Teer Fradee and taken to the mainland of Gacane—the home of the colonist factions. This older continent is cracked by war, the Malichor plague, and bitter political feuds. Your goal is to reclaim your freedom and shape your destiny while confronting a power-hungry figure whose conquest threatens both Gacane and your island.
Players will explore new locales across the old world, from Olima—known as the city of stars of the Bridge Alliance—to the shores of Uxantis. Each region offers clues to the continent’s past and present, along with faction intrigue to navigate.

Role-playing depth and choices
GreedFall II expands on the series’ choice-driven RPG design. Diplomacy, deception, infiltration, and direct combat remain viable paths, with decisions influencing relationships, quest outcomes, and the broader political landscape. You’ll recruit companions, pursue their personal quests, learn their secrets, and shape bonds that can develop into friendship, rivalry, or romance.
Companions and combat
Party building returns with deeper control. You can equip allies to suit your strategy and even take direct control of them in battle. Whether you solve problems with guile or steel, the game emphasizes flexible builds and team synergy.

What to expect at launch
With a focus on the old continent’s cultures and conspiracies, GreedFall II aims to deliver a richer look at the world’s politics while preserving the series’ hallmark freedom of approach. Players can anticipate expanded exploration, faction-driven storylines, and meaningful consequences that echo throughout the campaign.
