When you reach the stables on the outskirts of the Gerudo desert in Tears of the Kingdom, you will find that is full of boxes. The owner will say that the stables have to close down due to the lack of business. He will be unwilling to do much more with you due to all of the boxes that he has to deal with and this will trigger a quest for you to destroy all of the boxes for him.
Once all the boxes are destroyed, you will notice two large picture frames on the wall. Interact with one of them and the owner of the stable will ask if you would find him some artwork to put in the frames and this will trigger the start of a 2 part quest called A Picture For The Closed Stable. Each part will require you to take a picture of two different things. This means you must make sure you have obtained the camera. Once you have it, you are good to go.
A Picture For The Closed Stable Part 1
The owner will ask you to take a picture of the spectacle rock when it is smiling. The clue will be that Rito flying past have said it is easy to see it smiling from above. Having spent some time gliding around, this was a bit of a tricky one until I stumbled upon it. You will need to use a similar thing that you did for the “Through this droplet, shoot an arrow with the mark of the king” step of the Clues to the Sky main story quest.
Make your way to the East Gerudo Sky Archipelago. You can easily glide to it by using one of the nearby towers to get up into the air. Once you are here, you should be able to walk to the edge of the rock, in the exact position marked by the player location on the map above and it will give you a clear view of the smiling spectacle rock.
Bring the picture back to the stables owner and he will put it up on the picture frame and the quest will be completed.
A Picture For The Closed Stable Part 2
The second part of the quest, you will be asked to take a picture of the sword on top of the mountain in the Gerudo highlands. The highlands are vast and a small sword stuck into the rock sounds like it is going to be a big task but it actually isn’t. This is mainly down to the sword being enormous and impossible to miss!
I know the map is not perfect here as I hadn’t figured out how to get inside the Gerudo Highland skyview tower at this point. The sword is very easy to spot once you get up into this general area. Not only is it very large but it is also being guarded by a three-headed ice dragon. So unless you fancy a tough boss fight, it is best to take a picture from a distance.
You can enter the tower by going on a cave nearby and using assend under the tower
