Beacon Patrol, a relaxing yet challenging strategy puzzle game based on a successful board game, is out now on Steam. Released on September 17, 2025, it brings the tabletop experience to PC with thoughtful design and plenty of ways to play.
Set along cozy coastlines, Beacon Patrol focuses on strategic tile placement and careful route planning as you chart waters, expand patrols, and sail alongside seagull companions. The pace is calm, the decisions meaningful.

The PC release includes the full board game experience and the Ships & Shores expansion, offering a generous slate of content from the start. Unlockable ships with unique abilities let players tailor their approach and discover new tactics over time.
Players can go solo, gather around a screen in local multiplayer, or team up online via Steam Remote Play Together. Modes include Board Game Mode for authentic sessions, Exploration Mode for goal-driven wandering, and Creative Mode for laid-back sandbox building.

Beacon Patrol emphasizes planning and tactics over reflexes, rewarding smart positioning and efficient pathing. With its modern board game aesthetic and systems that encourage experimentation, it’s built for endless replayability.
The game is developed by Shapes and Dreams (Torben Ratzlaff) and BrutalHack (Benjamin Justice), and published by Assemble Entertainment.
