Dark Point Games has announced Achilles: Survivor is heading to Nintendo Switch on October 30, 2025, bringing its bullet-heaven action roguelite formula—rooted in Greek mythology—to Nintendo’s handheld hybrid. The Switch version arrives with all content introduced during Steam Early Access and subsequent updates across other platforms.
Set after Achilles’ resurrection by Hades and escape from Tartarus, the story follows the famed warrior as he rallies other survivors to topple the god of the underworld and sidestep eternal damnation. Players can choose from more than 15 legendary survivors—among them Achilles, Pythia, Prometheus, Brontes, and even a chicken god—each offering distinct powers and playstyles that reshape runs.
Combat centers on enduring escalating waves of Hades’ undead across handcrafted realms like Troy and Tartarus. A standout twist is the building mechanic: between barrages, construct traps, healing shrines, and summonable allies to tilt the battlefield in your favor. Layering structures with character abilities encourages flexible strategies and incremental mastery from run to run.
Progression leans on roguelite permanence: complete challenges, earn Favors, and unlock upgrades that persist across attempts. Multiple difficulties and modes—normal, short, and endless—let players customize session length and intensity, whether chasing a quick mythology fix or a marathon gauntlet.
Originally released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, Achilles: Survivor on Switch includes the full slate of Early Access-era additions: new survivors, enemies, bosses, powers, realms, structures, and modes.
