1000xRESIST, the critically acclaimed sci-fi adventure from developer sunset visitor 斜陽過客 and indie label Fellow Traveller, will launch on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on November 4. The expansion marks the latest milestone for a story-driven experience that has already captured attention across the industry.
Set a thousand years in the future, the game imagines a world where humanity has been reduced to a fragile remnant by the Occupants—an enigmatic alien force—and a devastating disease. Players step into the role of Iris, a Watcher and one of six Sisters serving the ALLMOTHER in a subterranean society, where faith, memory, and control collide.

Iris holds access to the ALLMOTHER’s memories, including the darkest chapters of humanity’s collapse. When a fellow Sister exposes the ALLMOTHER’s lies and is executed for treason, Iris is driven to resist, unraveling a web of secrets that reframes both past and present.
The release adds broader language support, with Brazilian Portuguese, French, and Korean joining the roster. The studio emphasizes accessibility for a global audience alongside a narrative built to challenge perceptions of identity, history, and power.
Accolades highlight the game’s narrative ambition: 1000xRESIST has received a Peabody award and earned nominations for both the Hugo and Nebula awards. Its presentation pairs a striking soundtrack with more than 10 hours of fully voiced dialogue, reinforcing a character-driven story that rewards close attention.
Already available on Nintendo Switch, Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, 1000xRESIST now broadens its reach to console and subscription players, inviting newcomers to experience its blend of memory exploration, tense revelations, and atmospheric worldbuilding.
