THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios have set a February 13, 2026 release date for REANIMAL, arriving simultaneously on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The studio confirmed the game went gold on December 16, 2025, locking in development for launch.
Pre-orders are live across all platforms. Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders have just opened, while PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S pre-orders have been available since November 20, 2025. Early buyers who pre-order digitally will receive the Foxhead & Muttonhead Masks as a bonus.
REANIMAL is a chilling co-op horror experience that follows a brother-and-sister duo as they navigate a hostile island to rescue missing friends and escape. The adventure blends intense stealth, environmental puzzle-solving, and cinematic platforming, emphasizing teamwork and communication under pressure.
A co-op demo is available now, beginning at the start of the game with the orphaned siblings and taking players through early locations like the Mill and the Trainyard. It’s a chance to get hands-on with the core mechanics and tone ahead of launch.
