These are stone circles on the ground that when activated will give you some form of challenge to complete involving the nearby nature or structures. Mallowsweet leaves are consumed each time you take part in a Merlin Trial. When you run out, you are going to need to find more. The easiest way to get them is to purchase them from a vendor. The closest vendor to get these from is the vendor at the Magic Neep in Hogsmeade. However, growing them yourself is by far the most efficient approach.
Easy Way To Get Lots of Mallowsweet Leaves
The video guide below will make this super easy for you. You can use this method to get 35 mallowsweet leaves every 10 minutes. For most people, the single batch will do the job for the majority of the game but it is very easy to keep growing and harvesting more of them.
Head to the room of requirement in Hogwarts Castle and build as many potting tables as you an fit. Use the seeds for the Mallowsweet tree, which you can purchase from the magic neep (see below for instructions on where to find this store if you do not know). Plant them into all of the pots and every 10 minutes you will find that you get 5 leaves from each of the 7 plants, totaling 35 leaves every 10 minutes. Not bad right!
