The Hylian clothes armor set is a low tier armor set in Breath of the Wild. As the name might suggest, this is more of a cloth piece of gear and as a result the defense and perks that come with this set is fairly limited. There are 3 parts to this set. None of the items in this set offer any enchantment bonus.
The base set will offer a total of 9 defense. If all pieces are fully upgraded it will increase from 9 defense to 60 defense. In order to upgrade all pieces, you will need the following materials.
- 114 Bokoblin Horn
- 45 Bokoblin Fang
- 60 Bokoblin Guts
- 90 Amber
Hylian Hood
The is hood can be found in Hateno Village clothing store. The following upgrades can be applied to this piece of armor by visiting a fairy fountain. Fully upgrading the hood will increase the defense value from 3 to 20.

This can also be found in the Hateno Village clothing store. Fully upgrading the Hylian Tunic at the fairy fountains will increase the base defense from 3 to 20.

This is the final piece of the set and can be found in the Hateno Village clothing store, along with the other items. This piece offers no enchantment bonus. The base defense is 3. Fully upgrading will increase the defense from 3 – 20.
