The Hero of the Wild armor set is the iconic look that we have seen Link wear in almost every Legend of Zelda game in the past. For those unfamiliar with the past games, this is the green hat and tunic. This armor set is linked with the Master Sword and will grant a bonus to the beam attack of this sword when the full Hero of the Wild armor set is equipped. This full armor set can be obtained from completing the “A gift from the monks” side quest. This side quest requires you to complete every shrine in the game, which makes this an armor set that will take a while to obtain. The base set will provide 12 defense and when fully upgraded at the Great Fairy Fountains, this will increase to 28.

Cap of the Wild
The cap of the wild is the iconic green hat that Link has worn in all past Legend of Zelda games. The cap will provide 4 defense that can be increased to 28 when fully upgraded. There is no enchantment bonus from equipping this item. You can get the cap of the wild form the “A gift from the Monks” side quest.
