Most of the Nornir chests in God of War Ragnarok are quite easy to find. They are out in the open and the challenge with them is finding the three runes. The Nornir chest in the Eastern Barri woods is a different story. I missed this one a few times as I had passed through this area.
Two of the paddles for this chest are quite close to the structure where the chest can be found. One is wrapped in brambles and a little harder to see but if you walk along the path you took to get to this chest, you will spot it on the left.
The final paddle switch for the rune is quite far away from this chest compared to others. If you take the path out of the structure where the chest is, you will find a werewolf chilling at the end of the path. You will need to kill him before you can continue on so prepare yourself to kick some ass.
Once the werewolf is dead, look to the damaged structure at the other side of the path. You will see that there is another rune paddle sitting up there. This one can be a little tricky to hit with your Leviathan axe but keep at it until you get it and unlock the chest.
