Cygnus Cross has revealed Emberville, a debut title headed to Steam Early Access in Summer 2026. Framed as a Diablo-lite meets Stardew Valley experience, the game mixes challenging ARPG combat with town and farm sim depth.
Following its reveal last week, Emberville has more than doubled its wishlists, now surpassing 275,000. The project stands out with striking pixel art and full voice acting, featuring Alex Jordan and Doug Cockle among a growing cast.
Combat aims for accessibility without sacrificing depth. A two-button foundation feeds into weapon-bound combos and class-driven skills, encouraging players to mix and match approaches. As classes level, active and passive abilities can be inherited to craft a personalized build and playstyle.

Outside the dungeons, Emberville emphasizes creativity and comfort. Players can build, decorate, farm, and craft across a suite of systems that elevate the town-life experience. Progression spans far beyond character stats, intertwining weapon and armor upgrades, skill growth, NPC rescues, and exploration across a procedurally generated world.
Quality-of-life features include a dynamic UI that adapts the HUD to your activity—whether farming, fishing, building, or fighting—to streamline inventory and on-the-fly management. The team highlights fast-paced combat mechanics, layered progression, and integrated systems for farming, gathering, and crafting, all within a world that changes with each run.

In development since 2023, Emberville has also attracted a partnership with Twitch streamer CohhCarnage, who has been involved in co-creation. Cygnus Cross confirmed the game will be fully voiced, with additional cast announcements planned as Early Access approaches.
