Before release, players can get hands-on during Steam’s Next Fest from February 23 to March 2, 2026, where an extended demo will be available. The Steam page is live at https://store.steampowered.com/app/2699280/Valor_of_Man/.

Players assemble a party of four heroes from twelve distinct classes, with subclasses spanning options like paladin and berserker. More than 750 spells, attacks, items, and artifacts promise substantial build variety, encouraging experimentation across runs.

Combat revolves around a reaction-driven system: every attack triggers an enemy response, pushing careful planning, turn order manipulation, and mastery of synergies. Battles play out on an evolving board, reinforcing the game’s roguelite loop with shifting tactical considerations and fresh challenges each session.

Valor of Man features ten escalating difficulty levels designed to test both party compositions and player skill, with the highest tier positioned as a significant hurdle to overcome. Full controller support and Steam Deck compatibility will be available at launch, broadening ways to play.
