THQ Nordic Unveils a New SpongeBob Adventure
THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp have announced a brand-new entry in the beloved SpongeBob franchise: SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide. This single-player 3D platformer promises to bring fans an exciting new adventure, launching November 18th, 2025. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2™.
Players can look forward to a vibrant platforming journey where they swap between SpongeBob and Patrick, utilizing each character’s unique abilities to tackle obstacles and solve puzzles. Iconic locations such as Neptune’s Palace and Mount Bikini serve as backdrops for the action, offering plenty of nostalgia and fresh surprises.
One of the standout features is the return of the original voice cast, ensuring the game’s dialogue captures the humor and charm that fans expect. Players will also enjoy new skills for Patrick, including grappling and burrowing mechanics that add a fresh dimension to the series’ platforming. <SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is set to launch at a price of €39.99 / $39.99 / £34.99 / AU$59.95 / ¥5720. Pre-orders are now available, and early buyers will receive exclusive bonuses such as the Natural Costume Pack DLC. Expanded Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions offer additional content, including the Tidal Season Pass and a collection of previous SpongeBob games.
