Is there a cheap way to get the last 10 doubloons for a discounted ship?

I have a coupon that drops a ship price a lot, but I’m still short by 10 doubloons. Is there any low-cost way to top that off without buying a full bundle just for such a tiny amount?

The usual answer is that there is no neat tiny top-up option if the store only sells larger doubloon packs. People usually just wait for a small amount to come from a mission, a reward track, or some other in-game giveaway, then use the coupon later. If the purchase is time-limited and you really want it now, the only practical choice is usually buying more than you need.

Yeah, the annoying part is that these systems are built around bigger increments. If there’s a free reward source available in your account, that is the cleanest way to patch the gap.

Check whether your platform store offers any very small currency packs, because sometimes the in-game view and the platform wallet do not line up the same way. If there is no smaller pack, then the math just works against you and there is not much to do besides adding extra funds or waiting for another discount cycle.

That’s the annoying reality here. A coupon can make the price look almost perfect, but if the currency steps are chunky, being short by a handful can still block the buy.

If you are only 10 short, I would not stress about trying to optimize the exact top-up. In practice, these currencies are usually easier to earn in small bits from events, containers, or account rewards than from the cash shop itself, so the cheapest route is often just patience.

If the ship is limited and you are set on getting it immediately, the workaround is usually to overbuy the currency and accept the leftover balance for later.

Pretty much. Tiny remainder balances are a common trap with couponed purchases, and the system rarely gives a clean exact-fill option.
