Could commander management use a couple of small safeguards?

I collect commanders, and a few classification and dismissal options would make the roster easier to manage. What changes would help most?

A lock toggle would be the most useful fix for me. Locked commanders could be excluded from dismissal, with a clear confirmation step before removing any others. That gives collectors a safety net without making the roster harder to clean up.

Agreed. A lock seems more flexible than making whole categories impossible to dismiss.

Better labels and filters would help too. Some commanders are obviously tied to an event or collaboration, while others are hard to identify at a glance. A small icon or category tag, plus a way to filter by type, would make sorting much less guessy.

Even just showing the category clearly on the roster screen would be a good start.

I'd keep the changes simple: protect seasoned commanders from accidental dismissal, and let players lock any commander they want to keep. Automatic protection can be handy, but an override or clear warning matters in case someone genuinely wants to dismiss one.
