Stranger missions in Red Dead Redemption 2 are side missions given by special NPC characters. They are separate from the main story missions and can be initiated and completed at any time. These missions are usually shorter and simpler than the story missions, and they are marked with a blip on the map when you first approach their locations. Some stranger missions may also trigger the hunt for special collectible items that can be found throughout the game world
