I keep finding furnishings listed in very large stacks. If buyers have to purchase the whole listing, is there a reason sellers bundle so many together, and what’s the best way to judge the price?
Why list a huge stack if buyers have to take the whole thing?

A big stack may be aimed at someone who wants a lot at once, or the seller may just be listing inventory without splitting it up. Either way, it rules out buyers who only need one or two. For items that are usually bought individually, smaller listings would be more convenient.

Think of it as one lot, not a menu where you choose a quantity. Before buying, divide the listed total by the number of items and compare that unit cost with smaller listings. A bulk lot can suit the right buyer, but a low-looking total price doesn’t automatically make it a bargain.
