What happened to the Dragonfall farmer crowd?

I used to see this area busy all the time, even at odd hours. Lately it feels like the traffic dropped off hard, and I’m not sure if the event changed or if people just moved on. Did something shift in the way the loop is run?

The biggest thing is usually reward efficiency. When a farm is popular, it stays packed because people can chain it fast and get decent loot with low effort. Once a newer spot or a better gold-per-hour option shows up, the crowd thins out pretty quickly. That kind of loop tends to be very sensitive to anything that makes it slower, more annoying, or less profitable.

It can also be a timing thing. Some maps only look dead because the people who used to do them have spread across different hours, or moved to private groups and organized runs. So the event can still be happening, just not in the same open-map way you remember.

Could be a mix of balance changes and plain old meta drift. If a farm stops being the top pick for materials, people don’t always announce where they went, they just quietly stop showing up there.

Also, if there’s any part of the chain that feels more punishing now, even a small slowdown can kill a repeat farm. Open-world groups are very sensitive to friction. One extra wipe, a longer wait between phases, or worse rewards and the whole thing starts looking empty.

There’s a good chance the route is still usable, but it isn’t the default money-maker anymore. In games like this, farming spots rise and fall based on whatever gives the best mix of speed, safety, and loot at the moment.

If you want to find where the crowd moved, check what endgame farming communities are prioritizing now instead of assuming the map got abandoned for a bug or a nerf. Usually the answer is simpler than that. People chase whatever feels best this week, and then leave the older loop behind.
