What’s the current max Collection Book level?

I was trying to figure out the current max Collection Book level and did the math from the item tiers and slot values. The result points to a max level of 1112 for the current game version. I’m posting the idea here in case anyone wants to sanity check the calculation or talk about edge cases like doubled weapon slots.

That number sounds reasonable if you’re counting every slot currently available and using the highest power level each item can reach. The big thing is that the Collection Book level is basically a sum of all those slot values, so once the roster is fixed the cap is fixed too.

The only wrinkle I’d keep an eye on is special handling for higher tier weapons, since those can sometimes score differently than the rest. If that exception is already folded into the total, then 1112 looks like a solid current cap rather than a guess.

Yeah, the double-value weapon rule is the part people tend to miss. Once that is included, the total jumps a lot compared with a straight one-for-one count.

If the goal is just “what can a player reach right now,” then 1112 is the useful answer. It is more practical than saying there is some theoretical max, because this kind of cap changes whenever new items get added or old ones get adjusted.

The breakdown is also nice because it shows where most of the XP comes from. High rarity heroes, legendary weapons, and mythics do most of the heavy lifting, while commons and uncommons barely move the bar compared with them.

Laneforge:

That was basically the point of the math, to get a current cap instead of a vague estimate. The per-item totals made the weird outliers easier to spot too.

What stands out to me is that the result depends on the exact collection pool, not just the level formula. So if someone is missing a few category counts, or a later patch adds new entries, the max changes immediately.

Still, for the present version, a cap around 1112 makes sense. The calculation method seems consistent, and it is the kind of number you only get after accounting for every slot rather than just sampling a few of them.

This is one of those cases where the answer is less exciting than the process. The real value is the table, because it lets people verify their own progress and see which categories are worth chasing if they care about Book level.

I’d treat 1112 as the current ceiling, not some permanent one. These collection systems tend to creep upward over time as new content gets folded in.

The math checks out as a current snapshot, especially since it separates slot XP from the power level bonus. That makes it much easier to understand why two items of the same rarity can still contribute differently.

If anything, the post shows how messy the Collection Book is under the hood. There are multiple item types, rarity bands, and one odd weapon rule, so getting to an exact max is a pretty involved count rather than a quick lookup.

Bunker Dash:

Exactly. Once you start counting every subtype and exception, the cap is more of an accounting exercise than a mystery.
