Do I lose XP if I leave after my ship is sunk?

If your ship has already been destroyed, returning to port should not erase the battle rewards you earned. They may not show up until the match finishes, so give the results screen a moment if you don’t see them right away.

The key difference is whether your ship is sunk or still active. After you’re sunk, you can head back to port and queue another ship. If you’re still alive and leave the battle early, don’t assume that’s treated the same way. When in doubt, check the post-battle results for the XP and credits.
