Would bots help when queues take too long?
When player numbers are low, a queue can take a long time. Would it make sense to add bots after a wait limit, or would that make matches less enjoyable?

A wait limit could be a reasonable way to cut down on long stretches in the queue. The game could add a few bots only after that limit, and let players know when a match includes them. Giving players the choice to keep waiting for a match without bots would make the tradeoff clearer.

Bots might shorten the wait, but they could also change how a match plays, especially if players expect to face other people. It may be better to make bot-filled matches an optional setting, or let players choose between waiting longer and starting sooner with bots.
