Which version of San Andreas should I start with?

If you want the original look and don’t mind a bit of setup, go with the PC version. It can take some tweaking to get the controls and compatibility feeling right, so it’s less of a just-start-playing option.

The Definitive Edition is the simpler pick on PS5. The visuals are updated, but the presentation has a different feel, and some people prefer the original style. I’d watch a little current gameplay from both before choosing.

For a first playthrough, I’d lean PS5 if convenience matters most. You can get into the game without sorting out a PC setup. Pick the original PC release if preserving the older look or having room to adjust things matters more to you.
