Where do the Corrupted Roots boxes drop by region?

I'm trying to match the Corrupted Roots gear boxes with the right item slots, but I keep seeing different bits of info. Does each region line up with one specific slot, or is there more variation?

The cleanest way to think about it is that each region seems tied to one gear type for these boxes. The mapping people keep using is Fractured Peaks for chest armor, Kehjistan for pants, Hawezar for gloves, Scosglen for helmets, Dry Steppes for boots, Nahantu for jewelry, and Skovos for weapons.

If you're trying to farm a specific slot, that makes the hunt pretty straightforward. Just keep in mind this is a region mapping, so the useful part is knowing where to go first rather than expecting every place to drop everything.

That layout makes it a lot easier to target farm. I was mixing up boots and gloves at first, so this clears it up.

Pretty sure the big takeaway is that the boxes are region locked by slot, not random. So if you want armor, you don't just run anywhere and hope, you head to the region associated with that piece.

I would still double check in-game behavior if you're looking for something very specific, because event loot tables can feel a little messy. But as a general guide, the region to slot pairing is the useful part.

Yeah, that's how I would use it too. Treat it like a routing map, not a guarantee for every single drop.

If someone just wants the short version, it's basically a region checklist. Chest in Fractured Peaks, pants in Kehjistan, gloves in Hawezar, helmets in Scosglen, boots in Dry Steppes, jewelry in Nahantu, weapons in Skovos.

The only real wrinkle is that names and map areas can be easy to blur together, so it helps to write it down once and keep it nearby while farming.

This is the sort of thing that sounds obvious after you see it once, but until then it's easy to overthink it.
