Is Brutal actually faster for grinding the event?

If runs on Brutal often end around wave 3 or 4, is it still worth sticking with, or is Medium likely to give faster progress overall?

Compare event progress per minute, not just the difficulty or how far a run gets. Track a few attempts on each setting, including the time spent in queues and battles, and use whatever progress the event awards for completed or partial runs. If Brutal gives less progress for the time because runs stop early, Medium may be the better grind.

A coordinated group can make Brutal more appealing, but don’t judge it by one unusually strong run. Compare typical results across several attempts.
