How are you deciding if the annual package is still worth it?

Asked by QuietFern

The annual package feels harder to justify when the amount of content appears to have shrunk and some updates have been delayed. Are you weighing the price against what has actually arrived, waiting for clearer plans, or looking at it another way?

I’d separate the promise from the delivery. Make a simple list of what was advertised, what has arrived so far, and what you personally played or enjoyed. A lower activity count doesn’t automatically make a package bad value, but delays and missing details matter when you’re deciding whether to pay upfront again.

Also, judge it by your own play habits. If the activities that were reduced are the ones you cared about most, the package may be a poor fit even if someone else is getting plenty out of it.

If you’re already feeling burned, I’d skip preordering. Wait until the contents and schedule are clear, if you can. Paying later might mean missing a discount, but it also means you’re judging something concrete instead of buying on hope.

Asking for a clear explanation of changes and delays seems fair. I’d be careful about assuming what’s happening internally, though. From the outside, it’s hard to know what consequences there are or what decisions led here. The useful question for a buyer is whether the next offer gives enough detail to earn your money and trust.
